At Gallery Art Chill
October 3, 2012: Today morning I went to Gallery Art Chill for inaugurating an exhibition (picture above) of Yogesh Sharma. I was quite impressed with the way the area of Amber Fort has been converted into an art gallery without damaging or changing the present structure.
The gallery receives natural light in such a way that lights are not needed during the day.
Thanks to Sangeeta Juneja who has been instrumental in putting light to this corner of the fort.
Vijay Laxmi Bishnoi, President, Rajasthan Congress, was the Chief Guest of the event. The gallery has a good collection of art work from all over the country. Yogesh Sharma’s photos were also very eye catching and I immediately booked five pieces of his work.
Today evening the first copy of the first poetic translation of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitanjali in Rajasthani language, Anjali Gitan Ri, was presented to the Governor Margaret Alva in a function organised by Prabha Khaitan Foundation.
