Dinner with Farah Khan Ali

October 21, 2016: I had a quiet dinner with Farah Ali Khan, ace jewellery designer, who is in Kolkata after four years for a pre-Diwali show at the 85 Lansdowne. She also brought a part of her Ornati collection to Kolkata. Farah Ali Khan is a famous jewellery designer and gemologist who forayed into designing jewellery by sheer chance when she decided to do a gemology course from the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, California, in 1992. She has designed jewellery for famous Bollywood celebrities and top business families.
